[Exclusive] Soompi’s Interview with FTISLAND & CNBLUE (Part 2)

Just yesterday night, the FT Island and CN Blue held their first ever joint concert at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Soompi had the chance to interview CN Blue on their impression of America, international fame, the upcoming third album, and their newly-found love for American food (yes, steak and In-N-Out!). While the boys were professional and polished, they occasionally cracked up at each others’ comments and Yonghwa’s confident English skills.

March of the Solo Arists: Se7en, K.Will and Miryo

It seems that February will be the month for solo artists. As February starts, solo artists are dominating the music industry with the release of their albums, specifically that of Se7en, K.Will, and Brown Eyed Girls’ Miryo.
Se7en, K.Will, and Miryo have all released their new albums around the same time, topping the charts with their new songs and gaining popularity through their music videos, whose teasers have gotten a record high number of views.

Idol Research Part 1: Idols’ Grades In School

On January 20, Ilgan Sports, a popular Korean newspaper in Seoul, did a special survey of idols, called Idol Research. It surveyed a total of 92 idols, 45 male and 47 female. The following idols were surveyed:
Male Idols: Jay Park, Boyfriend, B2ST, MBLAQ, Super Junior, C.N. Blue, Infinite, K.Will, Huh Gak, B1A4
Female Idols: Dal Shabet, Rainbow, miss A, Secret, SISTAR, A Pink, G.NA, Kara, 4minute, f(x)

"Female CN Blue" to Debut This Year?

FNC Music, the label that houses talented rock bands like F.T. Island and C.N. Blue, has revealed that they will be coming out with a new girl group that has all of the talents of their two boy groups. "We have a girl group that has been preparing for debut for a long time now. Their debut hasn’t been formally announced yet, but we’re already receiving calls from fans at the company," officials revealed.

Details on C.N. Blue’s Performance for Linkin Park

On Sept 10, boyband C.N. Blue performed for the world famous rockband Linkin Park. They played for Linkin Park’s opening performance at Makuhari Messe in Japan. C.N. Blue performed songs such as "Let’s Go Crazy", "Now or Never", and "Love". All in all, they played seven songs back to back. The audience went crazy throughout the heated performance.
